On the other hand he was just a human being with good and bad habits like everybody else. The image of him as a hacker and rebel was cultivated by himself like Michael Jackson pushed the image King of Popmusic, but in fact Jobs wasn’t a talented coder.

It’s hard to compare Steve’s image hustle with the telephone “leak” about the success of Trump, while it was the original voice of Donald himself and the wealth of his father. It’s obvious that both took the same road here, but the difference is that Steve Jobs didn’t took the fast lane. Jobs wasn’t enough of a sociopath to be a good CEO for Apple, but he knew it. So he inspired & hired the one of Pepsi Cola. Turned out that wasn’t good for Steve’s vision and the company. So his skill set was of no use at the office and for contracts, but all about marketing and inspiration. That’s what he really was successful with for Apple, and he created the jobs for himself as well.

We think Steve’s sense for arts and quality have made him unique at the board of a corporation like Apple. It was also the reason why he was able to hire the most talented artist for commercial computer ads, and that made a huge advantage for the Apple brand compared with Microsoft.

His daughter Lisa Brennan-Jobs wrote about her personal experience with him, and he often said ignorant and proud things about others. Bill Gates can sing a song about that, but his former Apple employees could support the Microsoft chorus.

Beside the Hype

Steve’s career was like a ride on the NYSE roller coaster and back in those days we used to follow him. However, most of the video footage above was a surprise for us and we hope you enjoyed it, too.
