MS Windows at first
Windows running on a Intel 80386 processor was considered to be Advanced Technology (AT), while 286’s been shipped with Norton Commander been labled as Extended Technology (XT), and regular IBM Personal Computer (PC). Unfortunately PC’s been too lame for the GUI operations with MS code.
Please, don’t make up your mind about their first Windows Ad. You should see the YO! MS-RAPS 5 commercial, which is hilarious and was intended FOR DOS. However, MS–DOS was selling well thanks to Bill’s famous IBM deal, and Windows 1.0 became a game changer, wasn’t it?
